[Kelly is 15 years old and is tanding facing her dad (Jim) in the living room. It is Friday afternoon and Jim is telling Kelly that he is leaving for the weekend and is leaving her in charge of the house and is giving her some rules that she must follow...]

JIM

Kelly! Come to the living room please.

KELLY

I am coming dad. Hold on

KELLY

[Walking to the living room]

Yes dad, what do you want?

JIM

I am leaving today, I am going on a work trip in Arizona and i'll b gone for the weekend. I am leaving you in charge of the house.

KELLY

REALLY! So I'll be home alone?

JIM

Yes but there is some rules you must follow...

KELLY

Wow dad, you always leave me with rules!

KELLY

But whatever... What are the rules?

JIM

Rule 1. Keep teh house clean

2. NO parties

3. Only 5 people over! NO MORE!

4. Must call me if you go anywhere!

5. Curfew is at midnight! NO EXCEPTIONS!

6. Can only have 1 person sleep over! NO MORE THEN THAT! And there is no sleeping at other peoples houses! I hope you got all those!

KELLY

Yes, dad I got it. But...

JIM

No arguing with me. The rules are simple and you are to follow them!

KELLY

But dad why midnight for curfew? I usually have to be home at 2

JIM

Because that is only if I am home!

KELLY

WOW FINE!

[Jim leaves the room to get ready to leave. Kelly picks up the phone to call Sarah]

KELLY

Hey girl!

SARAH

Hey! What's up?

KELLY

Nothing! But oh my god guess what?!?

SARAH

WHAT?!?

KELLY

My dad is leaving for the weekend! And he is getting ready to leave right now!

SARAH

Oh my! No way! We should have a party at your house tonight or something and have some people come over. You know the usual party. Drinking, having fun!

KELLY

We should! Tonight! But he gave me a bunch of these stupid rules that I am suppose to follow. But oh well there dumb I never follow the rules he gives me anyways.

SARAH

Yeah! Well I'll be over at like 6ish to help set up. Does that sound good?

KELLY

Yeah sounds perfect! I am going to call up Hayden to see if he can come.

SARAH

Ok sounds good bye

KELLY

Bye

[Kelly's dad comes downstairs with his bags and tells her that he is leaving and will be back sometime Sunday night.]

JIM

Ok honey I am leaving. Be good!! And I'll talk to you later. I love you!

KELLY

Ok bye dad have fun!

[Kelly picks up the phone again and dials Hayden's number.]

KELLY

[Ringing] Hey Hayden

HAYDEN

Hey babe! What's going on?

KELLY

Nothing my dad just left for the weekend. And Sarah and I are planning on throwing a party a my house! You should come!

HAYDEN

Ok! Yeah I would love to go! Should I get some friends to buy some alcohol?

KELLY

Yeah that would be good! Get enough for me you and Sarah. The rest of teh people that come can get their own. [laughing]

HAYDEN

Yeah ok well I'll plan on being at your house around 6ish or so?

KELLY

Yeah that sounds good! Well then I'll see you then. I love you, bye

HAYDEN

I love you to! Bye babe

[Sarah show up a little bit after Kelly gets off the phone]

KELLY

Hey! Ok so Hayden is getting some friends to get me you and Hayden alcohol. And then the other people that come over are going to have to bring there own.

SARAH

[Laughs] Ok sounds great!

KELLY

Ok. So we have to start setting up for this party. We have to clean the house even though it will probably end up getting messy, but oh well. Ok so let's go to my room and clean that first since its a pig sty.

[Sarah and Kelly go up to her room and starts cleaning it. They get done and Hayden shows up.]

KELLY

COME IN!

HAYDEN

Where are you guys?

KELLY

We are up in my room cleaning it. We'll be down in a sec.

[Sarah and Kelly walk downstairs to the living room.]

SARAH

What's up Hayden? Haven't talked to you in a while.

HAYDEN

Nothing, waiting for this party to start. The drinks should be here in like 20 minutes

SARAH

Ok great. People should be showing up around then to.

[Kelly, Sarah, and Hayden go up to her room to get ready. They come down 20 minutes later and Hayden's friend is here with the drinks and people are starting to show up. It's not even midnight and everyone is drnk and ends up crashing at Kelly's house. Next morning]

KELLY

Sarah wake up!

SARAH

[Groans] I don't feel good

KELLY

Me neither. Last night was so much fun though

SARAH

Oh I know. I wonder how messed up your house is. We should go check downstairs.

[Both get out of bed and walk downstairs to find everyone on the couch or on the floor and the house is a DISASTER!]

KELLY

OH MY GOD! My house is a MESS! Will you help me clean this up today?

SARAH

Of course I will. Maybe i'll just sleep over again tonight but just us to. NO ONE ELSE!

KELLY

[Laughs] yeah sounds like a plan

SARAH

Ok well lets start waking people up and getting them out of here.

KELLY

Ok sounds good. But lets not wake up Hayden yet so then he can help us clean up also today

SARAH

Ok yeah sounds good

[The girls start waking up everyone and getting them out of the house. They slowly leave and 45 minutes later finally everyone has left]

KELLY

Wow finally everyone's gone

SARAH

Yeah, no kidding!

KELLY

Ok now let's start cleaning so it does not take us all day to do it.

SARAH

Ok lets start!

[The girls start to clean the house and find that the lamp and some glass stuff is broken in the house]

KELLY

OH NO SARAH LOOK AT THIS! I AM GOING TO BE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!!!

SARAH

It will be ok. Maybe he wont even notice.

KELLY

Yeah maybe let's hope he doesn't notice or I am in SO much trouble!

SARAH

Yeah you will be fine let's just continue cleaning.

KELLY

Yeah I am going to wake up Hayden to help us now

[Kelly wakes up Hayden and they all continue to clean. About 3 hours later teh house is just about clean. They call it quits for now and Kelly goes upstairs to go shower and Sarah and Hayden watch some T.V. in the living room.]

SARAH

So what did you think of the party last night Hayden?

HAYDEN

That was a sweet party! We have to definitely do that again sometime when her dad goes out of town!

SARAH

Yeah for sure! But the lamp and some glassstuff got broken! So hopefully she does not get in trouble.

HAYEN

Oh really dang! I hope she doesn't either or else she is going to be grounded FOREVER!

[Kell gets out of teh shower and gets dressed. SHe then goes and joins Hayden and Sarah. Sarah gets up and let's Kelly sit down and Sarah goes and gets into the shower]

HAYDEN

Hey baby! I heard some stuff got broken! I hope you don't get in trouble.

KELLY

Yeah I better not get in trouble. But Sarah is going to sleep over again tonight and we are going to clean the house and make sure it is spotless!

HAYDEN

Yeah that sounds good. Well I am going to head home and shower and stuff and then maybe I'll come back over a little later if I can or something.

KELLY

Ok sounds good [Kisses Hayden Goodbye] I love you, bye

HAYDEN

[Kisses her back] I love you to. Bye

[Sarah goe back into the living room and sits next to Kelly to discuss what they are going to do the rest of the day when they are done cleaning]

SARAH

Ok so what should we do the rest of the day when we get done cleaning?

KELLY

I don't know. Maybe we should call Hayden and have him and one of his friends come over and we can watch a movie. Have a nice relax night.

SARAH

Yeah that sounds like fun! We should and then relax!

KELLY

[Laughs] Ok sounds good now lets go finish getting ready and finish cleaning the house.

[Kelly and Sarah go up to Kelly's room and finish getting ready and then come back down and finish cleaning. It is about 530ish on a saturday and they are getting ready to call Hayden]

KELLY

[On the phone with Hayden]

Hey! You and a friend should cme over to my house agian and watch a movie with me an Sarah and we can have just a nice relaxed night.

HAYDEN

Yeah that woudl be fun. WHo should I call to come over?

KELLY

Ooo call Josh. Sarah likes him a little bit so that would be good!

HAYDEN

Yeah I think Josh kind of likes Sarah to!

KELLY

OK SOUNDS GOOD! Bring him and be over at my house around 630ish with Josh and a good movie that we can watch

HAYDEN

Ok see yeah then. love you bye

KELLY

BYE

[Yells upstairs to tlel Sarah to get downstairs to the living room]

KELLY

SARAH GET DOWN HERE!

SARAH

Hey what do you want?

KELLY

We have a special boy coming for you! JOSH!

SARAH

Oh my gosh are you serious! YAY!

KELLY

Yeah so htey will be here in like 20 minutes

[Hayden and Josh show up at the door and they greet them at the door with a hug.]

HAYDEN AND JOSH

Hey ladies! We brought The Notebook

KELLY AND SARAH

OH really we love that movie! [all happy and smiling]

[All four of them go and sit down on the couch. Kelly and Hayden are lying next to each other, and Sarah and Josh are. They start watching the movie. It is about an hour and a half into it when Josh leans over and asks Sarah something.]

JOSH

Hey Sarah can I ask you something

SARAH

Yes Josh

JOSH

Sarah I like you alot and I was just wondering if you would go out with me?

SARAH

[Yells] YES! OH MY GOSH I THOUGHT YOU WOULD NEVER ASK! [Hugs Josh]

[Kelly and Hayden look over and are jsut smiling at them. They finish the movie and Hayden and Josh end up sleeping over at Kelly's house. Sunday morning rolls around the this is the day Kelly's dad comes home.]

KELLY

[wakes up]

Oh S*** my dad comes home today!

[Hayden wakes up after she says that]

HAYDEN

Its ok baby you haev time until he comes home

KELLY

Yeah I know I know I'll be fine let's go jump on Josh and Sarah [Laughs]

HAYDEN

[Laughs] OK LETS GO!!

[They go and jump on Josh and Sarah. THey both wake up. Sarah andKelly start getting ready and then Josh and Hayden do. They go out to breakfast to Perkins and have a good time. Kelly's dad arrives home around 6 and he never finds out that she threw a party. She did not get in trouble. Hayden and Kelly are still going out, and so is Josh and Sarah.]
